Our Story

Origin
In 1996, in the port city of Vung Tau - where ships set sail, bringing with them the vibrant life of the maritime industry, Mr. Vo Trong Phuc, who was then working in the marine paint industry, devoted himself to providing supplies for ships and port services. Each can of paint, each accessory, each shipment he brought was not only a product, but also a guarantee for the safety and efficiency of sea voyages.

Turning Point
During his years in the port industry, he realized a need that was quietly growing: high-quality, internationally-standard lubricants – something that marine machinery and engines, and industrial equipment could not do without. He understood that lubricants are not just “lubricants”, but are the deciding factor in the longevity and operating power of equipment.

From that observation and aspiration, Mr. Vo Trong Phuc cherished the dream of becoming a prestigious lubricant distributor, bringing the best products to customers. And then, fate brought him to Shell - the world's leading lubricant brand. This meeting opened a new journey for both Phuc Tho and Shell in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

Development journey
From the early days with only a few customers in the maritime industry, Phuc Tho has gradually expanded to many other industrial sectors: oil and gas, manufacturing, transportation, construction. We do not only sell products, but also provide comprehensive lubrication solutions: technical advice, oil analysis, operational training, and thoughtful after-sales service.

Thanks to its dedication and reputation, Phuc Tho has become an official distributor of Shell for nearly three decades, serving hundreds of corporate customers, participating in many key projects and accompanying the sustainable development of the region.
